Building Trades Employers Insurance Fund is a trusted employee benefits fund governed by a board of trustees and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) of 1974. The various health, dental, long-term care and life insurance benefit programs are available to member companies of the Mohawk Valley Builders Exchange, Northern New York Builders Exchange, Syracuse Builders Exchange, Tri-County Builders Exchange, and the Home Builders Association of the Mohawk Valley.
Established in 1967, the BTEIF has continuously offered a variety of employee benefit programs to construction industry employers and their employees through out central and upstate New York. Currently there are over 4,000 employees and their families participating in the BTEIF insurance programs, covering more than 30 counties.
