BTEIF Dental Insurance Plans
Listed below please find the various health insurance plans available to small business owners who are members of the Builders Exchange and the construction industry. These plans are self funded, and administered by EBS Benefit Solutions. Although the benefit structures for both plans have been designed in Blue Cross Blue Shield format, they are not Blue Cross Blue Shield products.
Premiums are remitted to the BTEIF, while claims are reviewed and paid by EBS. Claims may be submitted by dentists or patients.
The benefits listed on each page are only a sampling. Additional benefits may be included in your plan. This summary is intended to serve only as a reference guide/comparison.
BTEIF Indemnity Dental Program
This plan is designed to meet the basic dental needs of BTEIF employers and employees. Benefits are paid at the Maximum Amount Payable listed below, regardless of the dentist’s participation in the plan.
BTEIF Prime Blue Dental Plan
Unlike the Indemnity Dental Program, this plan provides a more extensive benefit structure and reimbursement schedule. Participating dental providers must accept Class I and Class II dental payments from EBS as payment-in-full. Class II benefits are subject to balances paid by EBS and Participant.
