BTEIF Dental Insurance Plans
Various health insurance plans are available to small business owners who are engaged in the construction industry or related industry. These plans are self funded and administered by EBS RMSCO. Although the benefit structures for the three plans have been designed in the BlueCross BlueShield format, they are not BlueCross BlueShield products.
Premiums are remitted to the BTEIF, while claims are reviewed and paid by EBS RMSCO. Claims may be submitted by dentists or patients.
The benefits listed on each page are only a sampling. Additional benefits may be included in your plan. The summary on this web site is intended to serve only as a reference guide/comparison.
BTEIF Indemnity Plan
This plan is designed to meet the basic dental needs of BTEIF employers and employees. Benefits are paid according to the fee schedules listed below, regardless of the dentist utilized.

BTEIF Prime Blue Dental Plan
Unlike the Indemnity Dental Program, this plan provides a more extensive benefit structure and reimbursement schedule. Reimbursements are shown in the attached and are based on percentages within each Class. Participating dental providers must accept Class I and Class II dental payments from EBS RMSCO as payment-in-full. Class III benefits are subject to balances paid by EBS RMSCO Participant. Non-participating dentists may balance bill for all Classes. EBS RMSCO will not pay more than the percentages of the reimbursements for any dentist.

BTEIF Solutions Dental Plan
Solutions offer a full array of dental coverage including Orthodontic (Class IV) benefits to age 19. the reimbursements for Class I, Class II and Class III benefits are paid on a Usual or Customary level of reimbursement instead of a fee schedule. This program has the greatest flexibility, allowing any dentist to be utilized. For details, contact the Fund Office.
